Whether you’re in the final year of your undergraduate degree or a working professional (with a bachelor’s degree from any professional background), you’re welcome to apply. Work experience is a bonus but not mandatory. Also, you should have minimum 50% in each of the 10th, 12th and graduation exams.

Of Course, you need to be ambitious, driven, focused and committed to playing a role in Public Policy while also willing to grow personally and advance professionally through this experience; public policy is your access to all the change you want to bring about.

Our internal assessment process considers the following aspects of your application:

• Your academic record, employment history, and essays hold 60% weightage, and your Interview holds the remaining 40% weightage for your selection assessment
• Your passion for pursuing a career in Public Policy and bringing about change in your area of interest.
• Your attributes include your leadership potential, initiative, and awareness of prevailing issues in the public policy domain.

We shortlist candidates based on their overall performance on the parameters above. Your essays and your interview will broadly impact your chances of selection. So, it is essential to focus on well-articulated essay. There is no entrance exam for admission. However, each applicant has to clear the application screening and Personal Interview round to be eligible to secure admission to Kautilya.

Please complete the mandatory and relevant sections carefully. Once the application is submitted, it cannot be altered.

Additionally, it is imperative that the content of your Statement of Purpose (SOP) is original and reflective of your own thoughts. Failure to fill out the scholarship essay portion will result in disqualification from applying for the scholarship at a later stage, after the online application submission.

Upon approval of your application, participate in an online PERSONAL INTERVIEW at the designated time communicated by your admission advisor.

Step 01: Please CLICK HERE to complete the inquiry form and discuss your eligibility with the assigned admission advisor.

 

Step 02: Exclusive application link will be shared on registered email ID post successful submission of the inquiry. Begin your application process by entering personal information, and paying a fee of INR 1000/-.

 

Step 03: Filling out all sections (Academic Details → Employment History → Awards & Honors → SOP → Policy Questions → Scholarship Essay → Recommendations, and Final Review), uploading necessary documents, and submitting online.

 

Step 04: Upon approval of your application, participate in an online PERSONAL INTERVIEW at the designated time communicated by your admission advisor.

 

Step 05: Shortlisted applicants will receive the Provisional Admission Offer (PAO) on registered email ID.

 

Step 06: Upon acceptance of the PAO, kindly confirm your admission by depositing the admission fee of INR 1.00 Lakh within the next 7 working days to secure your admission seat. Please also indicate your hostel room preference and share the transaction details at admissions@kautilya.org.in

 

Step 07: Confirmed admissions will receive the Provisional Admission Letter (PAL) along with the payment schedule on registered email ID.

 

Step 08: Ensure timely payment of the 1st-semester fee as per the provided schedule and complete the document verification and other required registration process on the designated onboarding day.

PROGRAM FEE:

• Admission Fee: ₹ 1.00 LPA (to be paid at the time of admission
• 1st Year Tuition Fee: ₹ 5.68 LPA
• 2nd Year Tuition Fee: ₹ 6.68 LPA

 

HOSTEL CHARGES:

• Single Occupancy A/C with Attached Washroom: ₹ 2.00 LPA
• Single Occupancy A/C with Common Washroom: ₹ 1.72 LPA
• Twin Sharing A/C with Attached Washroom: ₹ 1.62 LPA.
• Triple Sharing A/C with Attached Washroom: ₹ 1.38 LPA.

 

MEAL CHARGES:

• ₹ 78,000/- per annum

 

NOTE:

• *LPA (Lakhs Per Annum).
• Any insurance premium towards hospitalization insurance policy and/or COVID-19 insurance policy will be charged on actuals.
• While no security deposit is being charged, any damage to Kautilya’s property will be charged on actuals.
• Room and meal charges may be subject to increase based on market rates and management decisions for the second year.
