Bio : Antara Maitra is a final year student at the Kautilya School of Public Policy. She has spent over a decade in the financial services industry, where she has been central to strategic engagements and private banking investment strategy in the Asia Pacific region for private banking clients.

She has interned under the Chief Sustainability Officer of the JSW Group, specifically focusing on the gap analysis of the ESG risk ratings of JSW Steel by Morningstar Sustainalytics and recommended appropriate policy-level recommendations for improvement. Having gained a holistic understanding of the key material issues that the Indian steel industry faces, Antara is currently leading the initiative of curating a Just Transition policy roadmap for the steel sector from a corporate perspective.

She is an engineer with a 5-year integrated MS in Software Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore.She also holds a postgraduate diploma in banking and finance from Manipal University.
