“Rebooting Climate Agenda:
What should the priorities be?”

June 5, 2021

About the event

As we battle Covid-19, the other big challenge is that of climate change. Countries have little time to act, if the world has to ward off the worst effects of climate change. It is crucial to re-engage in the climate dialogue, amidst the pandemic, to bolster the fight against global warming.

In this session, we looked at how to bring the climate change agenda back on the table, both in policies and politics. This session was joined by UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador, Dia Mirza, along with Environmental Activist, Arun Krishnamurthy and Founder of Chintan Environmental & Research Action Group, Bharati Chaturvedi.

‘Let’s Talk Policy’ is a panel discussion series initiated by Kautilya School of Public Policy, that brings forth a select group of panellists, sharing differing views on key issues of national and global relevance, and building the dialogue into a conversation for the student community.

The series aims to unravel major themes around democracy, politics, and human rights, and explore the challenges and rewards of implementing practices. We aim to create a cohesive platform and call on thematic experts to foster a healthy dialogue around the most-pressing issues.
