About the event
Since early-2020, there’s one question on everyone’s mind – How will the pandemic end, and when?
Covid-19 has affected lives the world over. Worse still, there’s no credible estimate of how and when things will get better. Will the virus undergo a transition? Or will our immune systems learn enough about them to fend off the deadliest manifestations of infection?
Moreover, the failure to foresee and prepare for multiple waves of the virus, has resulted in the widespread helplessness we are witnessing in India today.
In this part of our #LetsTalkPolicy series, we bring together an expert panel to deliberate on this topic.
Dr. Eric Feigl-Ding (epidemiologist & health economist) and K Sujatha Rao (Former Union Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare) will be joined by Nidhi Razdan, who will moderate the panel.
‘Let’s Talk Policy’ is a panel discussion series initiated by Kautilya School of Public Policy, that brings forth a select group of panellists, sharing differing views on key issues of national and global relevance, and building the dialogue into a conversation for the student community.
The series aims to unravel major themes around democracy, politics, and human rights, and explore the challenges and rewards of implementing practices. We aim to create a cohesive platform and call on thematic experts to foster a healthy dialogue around the most-pressing issues.
