What is public policy ?

The drape flying represents the policies at large, and the different colors represent the diversity and vibrancy of the arena it covers. Under the drape are the people for whom policies are made. Some fall under them, while others do not have access to them. And then there are people who don’t support the policies, like the man walking away from it.

The one holding the drape represents the Government that is seen to be directing the policies and its implementation. The bureaucracy is conspicuous of their absence in the image, which is evocative of their invisible contribution in policy making.

Hence, Public Policy according to me is a plethora of actions and administrative solutions that are channelized by the Government for the people.
